We stopped at the historical Mena House Marriott hotel and had our late lunch and enjoyed some breathtaking view of Giza pyramids. The food and view were great, it was quite pricey though!
We had the selection of cold mezzeh, guaranteed to give you a flavor of the country, then we had chicken sharkaseya with rice for hubby (really tasty as per hubby) and pasta bolognese for me and for the little tourist.
The weather was perfect for chilling out after a lot of walking in the desert of the pyramids and listening to all the stories and explanation.
In alternative:
The nearby Pizza Hut enjoys the view and serves the classic selection of American pizza. They have a nice salad bar too with tasty garlic bread.
Or Christo, a historical fish restaurant famous for its nice terrace and wide selection of fish-based dishes.
Another option would be Le Meridien Pyramid hotel has good food outlets.
The objective is to stay in the area to catch the following attraction: the Sound & Light show
