Gaia is a district that is found south of the Duoro river, within the Porto area. Here you can stroll along the river and get introduced to many varieties of port wine. You can also enjoy the historical houses and businesses. In Gaia, you'll find the Monastery of Serra do Pilar, a National Monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site. It has a wonderful architecture that offers a stunning view of the city. Photo Credits: Photo by Mathis Bogens on Unsplash Photo by Wendell Adriel on Unsplash
