The Grote Markt, which dates from the Middle Ages, is located in the heart of Antwerp's old city center. The City Hall of Antwerp, the beating center of Antwerp politics and UNESCO heritage, and the Brabo statue are the most prominent sights on the Grote Markt. On the market square, you will also find many restaurants and cafés where you can enjoy a nice cup of coffee or a bite to eat.
