Camps Bay is one of the main tourist destinations in Cape Town, and is located on the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, at the base of the Twelve Apostles Mountain Range, which is adjacent to the world-famous Table Mountain. Camps Bay is a beautiful suburb of Cape Town, located along a stretch of coast, with the feel of a village. It is conveniently located 15 minutes from the city centre, 40 minutes from the famous Cape Winelands, and an hour’s drive from Cape Point. Camps Bay is a popular with locals and tourists alike, and the strip can be safely walked during the day and night. The beach is pristine and white, and often games of touch-rugby or volley ball will be occurring. There are more than 20 restaurants to choose from, as well as many accommodation options. Camps Bay is the perfect setting for sunset, as the sun sets right across the ocean in beautiful warm colours. Photo credit: www.pixabay.com
