On the western side of the lake is a fantastic hilltop viewpoint. It rises 650 metres above the lake providing one of the best panoramas in the area. The hike takes about 45 minutes, longer if you stop to enjoy the views. This is a great place for lunch or a picnic if you don't mind carrying it up the hill with you!
