Also called "Metelkova City Autonomous Cultural Centre" (AKC). Metelkova Mesto is an autonomous social and cultural hub - similar to the Freetown Christiania in Copenhagen, Denmark.
This site was previously the headquarters of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. The area is now a location of art, graffiti, and cultural expression. It holds live music events, exhibitions, and festivals with bars and restaurants in the surrounding area too.
