Twenty-nine years ago, Heligan’s gardens were unknown and unseen; lost to brambles due to the outbreak of WW1. Now the gardens are 200 acres of space to explore. There are many eye catching features, such as the mud maid, the giant’s head, the rope bridge and many more. There’s a broad range of wildlife and nature for the plant lover’s to indulge in. There are 1000’s of plant species in this garden and is a must see for anyone into nature. Food and drinks is also a feature of this attraction. The kitchen makes many plant based foods grown at the garden, so is great for any vegans or vegetarians, but is also great for any pasty or sausage roll people.
