Go further back in time at Jorvik to discover York's Viking past for much more than a museum, this experience includes a 12 minute ride with animatronics and real remains from the old Viking city. They were discovered by excavations in the building of a new shopping centre, so now the preserved remains of over 1,000 artefacts including buildings, wells, textiles and pottery are all displayed in Jorvik's galleries.
