Hidden away near the quiet village of Greve Landsby (Greve Village) south of Copenhagen is the Greve Museum.
Housed in old farm buildings, the museum covers several themes. In the building on the left as you enter, there’s a historical presentation of the farm itself including reconstructions using original furniture and farm equipment.
In the building on the right (the main entrance), on the ground floor there is a cafe with local historical paintings and a look at modern history of the area over the last century. Upstairs is a feature on the local wool industry and some modern and really interesting tapestries, with some “make you think” themes.
If you enjoy museums, you’ll likely enjoy this little museum and it’s presentation of Danish life over the last 150 years.
