Eat & Drink-Cafe
If you follow a vegan or gluten-free diet, travelling to a new place can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you want to eat good food, and not just the same boring salad every day.
Cafe Kaf is Denmark’s first plant-based pastry shop, offering breakfast, lunch, brunch and lots of truly delicious cakes. They serve croissants and other pastries as well as a large selection of raw cheesecakes (I recommend the passion fruit one!), cookies, brownies, doughnuts and coffee. Everything is 100% vegan, and they have lots of gluten free options, too.
The cosy cafe is friendly and welcoming, and it even has a ‘no laptop’ policy, to encourage people to talk to each other instead of staring at their screens. In the summer, tables spill out onto the pavement and into the small square opposite.
Kaf is in the heart of Nørrebro, a trendy neighbourhood in the north of Copenhagen with a wealth of independent shops and bars, so you’ll definitely find something interesting to do after your pit stop (if you’re not too full!).
