This is not your average replica garden. It may even be an insult to call it so. The Lan Su gardens were built in the style of the Ming Dynasty – an era of Chinese history from the 13th to 16th centuries.
The production of the garden was an incredible undertaking. 60 landscape gardeners and designers from Suzhou in China spent a year constructing the garden. In doing so, they successfully created the largest traditional Chinese garden in the United States.
Even the tools and materials used for production were brought over from China. The gardens are a tranquil place for reflection and contain antique stonework architecture and delicate botanical displays.
Order a green tea from the on-site tea house and sit by the koi pond to truly immerse yourself in this ancient Chinese dynasty.
