Settlement-Neighbourhood
The Exarcheia neighbourhood has long been the centre of anarchist movements in Athens – look out for political street art across its walls. But it’s also a great place to spend an evening, thanks to its cafe bars, live music clubs and vegetarian restaurants.
Alternatively, go a little further north, to the multicultural Kypseli neighbourhood. The bars and restaurants reflect the neighbourhood's diverse population, with cuisines including Ethiopian and Kurdish.
