Another stop that you should make is at the Kinniya hot springs, which are believed to have been built by the ancient Sri Lankan king Ravana. Upon visiting this place, you can go around the ruins and view the historic remains still available open to the air. The Kinniya Hot Springs will make you feel refreshed and full of energy even on the hottest day. At these hot springs, the old stairs will lead to a four-foot-underground space with seven wells, where water is always very close to the surface if not overflowing. Remember to try water from each well since there is a noticeable difference in the temperature of the water, which is either hot or warm.
