Situated on a headland along the southwest coast of Vancouver is one of the finest First Nations exhibitions in all of Canada. Many of the First Nations people believe in spiritual connections with the natural world. They talk about a symbiosis between their people and the wild areas they inhabit.
The museum aims to highlight the cultural diversity of indigenous people, particularly the communities in British Columbia, Canada. The museum also contains 50,000 ethnological objects from all continents.
Run by the University of Vancouver research institutions, the Museum of Anthropology provides a detailed picture of the original eco-minded people that roamed the Canadian wilderness for thousands of years.
