Start your first day in Vienna at the city’s Prater Park, where you’ll find the famous Wiener Reisenrad, a huge ferris wheel from which you can take in sweeping views over the city. If you visit between March and October, you'll also be able to try out the many rides and attractions at the Prater Amusement Park. Otherwise, spend some time wandering along the green walkways of the park itself, or perhaps head to the Liliputbahn, a miniature steam railway, the Pratersauna – a club and arts venue housed in a former sauna dating back to the 1960s – or take some time out at one of the restaurants or in the park's the beer garden.
