Set in the Old City of Jaipur, Alsisar Haveli is a heritage hotel. Haveli means a traditional home - and here once resided a large and wealthy family. I found the staff to be extremely welcoming - and the open courtyard and swimming pool provide an extraordinarily tranquil setting - in contrast to the streets outside. The buffet breakfast - taken in the open courtyard - was excellent.
