"The ruins of one of the finest mansions built in the colonies sits on the bank of the York River in Gloucester County, Virginia. Here, you may see the brickwork and grace of form and scale which have inspired poets and architects since Thomas Jefferson." The Ruins are now open until October 29th, 2023. The hours are 10:00 am - 4:00 pm on Friday - Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm (The last presentation starts at 3:30 pm). The Visitor Center is no longer free, and the regular fees apply. If you are a member of the Fairfield Foundation, admission is free. Thanks. Come scope it out, learn some background info about Rosewell and the families who lived there and those who were enslaved there, ​and plan your return visit to see the ruins soon!
