The colonial looking architecture is a nod back to Gillman Barrack's history as a former British military barracks back in 1936. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is located just a few minutes drive away from the city centre. Launched in 2012, the area's smattering collection of buildings was set to be a collection of art galleries displaying international and home-grown art, giving rise to one of Singapore's art enclave. Some are permanent galleries while others are temporary so you will definitely not see the same things on every visit!
