Nature-Park
Champ de Mars is an expansive park next to the Eiffel Tower. It offers great photo opportunities of the famous monument and is a nice place for strolling. There are many benches around, but you may relax on the lawn if you prefer.
The Military School (Ecole Militaire), on the opposite side of the park from the Eiffel Tower, features a grand façade. If you take a closer look, you'll notice holes punctuating the façade. Those originated during the liberation of Paris from the Germans in 1944.
TIP: The Military School is a national monument, which you can visit during the European Heritage Days (every third weekend in September).
