Hamam Al-Sammara as spelled in Arabic, or The Samaritans Bath, also known as the Brown Bath; it is a bath of special importance for Gaza and the only housebath that remains after the Turkish era. Back in time to its origin, Hamam Al-Sammara is a picture of the old, traditional bathhouses that had been built before almost a century. It's located in the Zeitoun Quarter, the old city, Gaza, Palestine (known by everyone). The Brown bath consists of several rooms that differ in their temperatures. Wading and maghtas after being massaged by the warm floor is a common ritual; also, the cozy atmosphere there would get you to repeat this experience. In the past, people used to bring their infants to Hamam Al-Sammara to get blessings. It also used as a remedy for rheumatism. Gaza is famous for its simplicity; this includes the price as well. You are highly recommended to get relaxed there in the evening: 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm, especially after a hard day. The currency is NIS. Ticket costs about 20NIS which equals only 5$. Don't miss it! It’s a blessed place
