The Basilica of the Sacred Heart of Paris, or Sacré-Cœur, is the second most visited monument in Paris. Entrance is free.
Standing at the highest point in the city - on Montmartre (the mount of martyrs) - visitors are rewarded with outstanding views of Paris.
Warning: there are 300 steps to climb and no lift!
